Gorjuss and Pearly

Today my daughter was going to a birthday party
to the only other child who is born the same year as she,
but she has finally gotten the chicken pox, I have been waiting for weeks
for them to break out, so she has to stay home. We are just walking
over there to deliver a gift and this card I made yesterday,
Sofie is wrighting and drawing her own greating inside.
She actually is great with letters,
and she draws the cutest little "men" with just a head and feet. :)

The papers I have used is from Maja Design,
(I just love this paper!!), and a couple of Magnolia packaging.
The scallopet frame is a paper from Inkido with newspaper-print.
I also dabbed some gesso over the card.

I sprayed on quite a heavy layer of Chalkboard Glimmer Mist,
and added Star Dust Stickles to the clothes, letters and butterflies.

This Gorjuss image is colored with Distress Reinkers.
I layered some colors to make the dress look purple-greyish
and glimmering. She was supposed to be almost blonde, but she
kept getting darker and darker. ;)

I just love these fabric flowers,
these are the last ones I had. They are from Wild Orchid Crafts,
and so are the roses, pearl string, lace and rose ribbon.

The letters are from American Crafts. The large pearls,
the cheese cloth and the guipure lace are from Ribbon Girl.

The key charm is from Ribbon Girl,
and I used an angel and a heart charm that I
got for christmas, my sweet friend Elaine made those. :)
I tied them up with string.
The butterflies are from my Martha Stewart puncher.

Tilda has a Secret *CLP DT*

My mothers 43th birthday is comming up (yes, she had me
when she was very young), and I wanted to make
her something special. I am almost out of Vanilla Bazzil,
(oh, the horror!), so I decided to make a paper bag card,
witch would be pefect to hide her gift inside. She and her housband
gets consert tickets to se Leonard Cohen with me and my fiancee,
we both love him. So I hope she is not in here snooping on my blog. ;)

I made this card from the gorgeous scetch at CLP
hope to see you all there. ;) I have been a bad team-member for the
last few months, but lucily Chelsea havent asked me to leave yet. ;)

The key is from Tim Holtz, it says "Secret",
refering to the gift of course. ;)
I used string, staples and glued on some buttons from Ribbon Girl
to make sure the card could be opened a little bit,
and I used my Martha Stewart lacy hearts.

I colored Tilda with Distress Reinkers.
Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint for her dress,
Walnut Stain and Pumice Stone for shoes and socks,
Victorian Velvet and Star Dust Stickles for the balloon,
and Wethered Wood and Pumice Stone for shading.
I also used Liquid Pearl around the image,
I think it looks like magic dust or something. :)

I got these wonderful zippers at Ribbon Girl,
I think they are so much fun to embellish with!
The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts, except
from the pink one on top, its from Papirloftet.
I also used some brads.

I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch, and covered them with
Star Dust Stickles. It had not dried yet when I took the picture,
so it looks a bit vierd.

The ribbon and lace are both from Ribbon Girl.
I also added some pearl, love it when they come in rows like this!

The papers are from Inkido and Magnolia, and I used a heart doily,
but I have almost covered it up. Oh well. ;)
I also have a row of lace from my Martha Stewart Punch.

Thank you to those who still visit me!
Midweek Magnolias - Favourite stamp
(She has a great dress, not that difficult hair,
I love the balloon and she is so usable!)
